Sacha Kljestan has scored for the second straight World Cup qualifier to give the United a later first half lead over Trinidad & Tobago. The New York Red Bulls midfielder spent more than two years away from national team before finally getting the call-up and he’s made the most of it.

The play started with some excellent interchanging play on the left side with Fabian Johnson and Christian Pulisic. The resulting pass into the box from Pulisic was kicked around until Sacha picked up the loose ball and poked into the net for the opening goal of the half.
What a two week span it’s been for him. He’s probably enjoying life a lot right now.
