Kekuta Manneh’s international future lies in the hands of FIFA now. U.S. Soccer officially confirmed on Wednesday that the Vancouver Whitecaps winger has received his U.S. Citizenship:

All that remains between him suiting up for the Stars and Stripes is clearance from FIFA. At just 22 years of age, he is one of the most exciting young players in MLS and could add a very dynamic presence to the American wings. Hopefully the clearance comes before the January camp so he gets the chance to prove he belongs before the World Cup qualifiers start back up in March.
