Borussia Dortmund are in Spain preparing for the second half of the Bundesliga season with some friendlies. Christian Pulisic netted a goal in the first warm-up match against PSV on the weekend.
The 18-year-old didn’t stop there as he got the start in the club’s second friendly against Belgian side Standard Liege and scored another really nice goal:
After some linking passes around the box by Dortmund, Łukasz Piszczek slotted in a ball for the American youngester to run on to. With the goalkeeper rushing out to meet him, Pulisic clipped a delicate chip over him and into the back of the net for his second straight friendly with a goal.
He played 45 minutes in the 3-0 win, getting replaced at halftime by Emre Mor. Hopefully this is the beginning to a great second half of the season for Pulisic as Dortmund return to league action on January 21 against Werder Bremen.
