Merry Christmas everyone! Today may be the holiday where basketball takes center stage, but for soccer fans, tomorrow is just as big a holiday: Boxing Day. Boxing Day brings with it a full slate of Premier League matches for your enjoyment. The highlight for United States Men’s National Team fans will be when Danny Williams and Huddersfield Town host Geoff Cameron’s Stoke City.

For Huddersfield Town, they will try to use this match to try and move into the top 10 and creep close to Europa League positioning. They are seeking to get their season back on track after going winless in 6 of their last 8 matches. Danny Williams will hope to command the middle and start more opportunities against the Stoke defense.

On the other side, Geoff Cameron and Stoke are winless in 7 of their last 9 matches, but had a huge victory over the weekend against West Bromwich Albion in their fight to stay above that relegation line. Cameron is fully back after a concussion sidelined him for all of November and should feature on the back line of a Stoke defense that is giving up a ton of goals.

This is a great holiday tradition for soccer fans, and it will be a match where much of the world will be watching these games. It will be terrific if Danny Williams and Geoff Cameron can each put on a show for their respective teams. Both Huddersfield and Stoke need this match for different reasons, but it will be important for each to grab 3 more points to move up in the standings.
