Another day, another honor for everyone’s favorite American prodigy in the Bundesliga. Christian Pulisic has been voted into the Bundesliga’s Team of the Hinrunde (first half of the season) by fans of the league.

The USMNT youngster edged out Bayer Leverkusen’s Julian Brandt by one percentage point for the right midfield spot in the team.

While this was nothing more than a popularity vote, it’s still encouraging to see Pulisic come out on top. Statistically it hasn’t been a season to write home about, but if you’re paying close attention it’s easy to see that he impacts every match he plays in. He has played an integral part in the club’s run to the Champions League Round of 16, even helping set up a late goal against Real Madrid.

His spot in the club’s matchday squad seems cemented thanks to his contributions. Thomas Tuchel has taken him under his wing and Pulisic has flourished. Hopefully the second half of the season is even better for the 18-year-old.

Here’s the full Team of the Hinrunde: Manuel Neuer - David Alaba, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Mergim Mavraj, Philipp Lahm - Christian Pulisic, Thiago Alcantara, Ousmane Dembele - Anthony Modeste, Robert Lewandowski, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
