Here we are at the final game of the SheBelieves Cup. The United States has struggled to score, though they’ve seen some encouraging results from midfield and defensive experiments. If they can keep their mid and defensive progress while also buffing their attacking efforts, then this should be a great game against France. If not, France can punish them all over the field in any line they want, whether it’s Wendie Renard in the defense, Camille Abily or Amandine Henry in the midfield, or Eugénie Le Sommer or Marie-Laure Delie in the front.
UNITED STATES XI: Naeher, Sauerbrunn, Long, Short, Lavelle, Mewis, Brian, Heath, Lloyd, Williams, Press
No one said it would be easy, but we control our own destiny.
