Perfection is hard to come by, but Venezuela have maintained it through their first four matches at the 2017 U-20 World Cup. Four matches played, four wins, 11 goals scored and zero conceded. The United States under-20 men’s national team will have a very sturdy test ahead of them in the quarterfinal. If they are to advance to the semifinals for the second time in their history (1989), they’ll certainly have to earn it.

Tab Ramos will have his full compliment of players available after the three that were suspended for the Round of 16 win over New Zealand return. We’ll likely see Derrick Jones and Cameron Carter-Vickers return to the lineup, however don’t be surprised to see Aaron Herrera left out. He’s been the weakest link of the team through four matches at right back. With the fantastic play of Justen Glad, it would be sort of surprising to not seem him assume the right back role against Venezuela. But, that’s just a bit of common sense talking, I’m not Tab.

No matter the lineup, this will be a very tough match but it should be an entertaining one. Who’s ready for this?
