Let’s watch this sensational Darlington Nagbe goal on loop for the rest of eternity

Hi. It me, the Darlington Nagbe lover. Yes, I’m posting about him again because he just scored a fantastic goal tonight. But more importantly, I need something to distract myself from the fact that Atlanta United just lost to the worst team in MLS for the third time this season.

But, seriously. Look at that finish by Nagbe. That is utter brilliance. Bruce Arena supposedly said this about him: “He doesn’t score bad goals.” — Say what you will about his effectiveness in front of goal, but he certainly has a spectacular goal in his locker.

Please forgive me from going on about how awesome Nagbe is. I need this happiness in my life after the depressing night I’ve had. Now we just need to see some of this magic for the national team. Both he and Christian Pulisic appear to be rounding into form at the perfect time. With the defensive question marks the U.S. has going into the September qualifiers, they’ll need to score to alleviate some of the concerns.
