The United States men’s national team played to a tough 1-1 draw with Panama last night in what was an overall sloppy match. While it wasn’t pretty, but a point was secured and qualifying rolls on. After calculating the player ratings, the results were close but we have a clear winner.

Man of the Match: Christian Pulisic

To the surprise of absolutely no one, the 18-year-old has won the community’s vote as the best USMNT player against Panama. His magical work on the Dempsey goal was something to behold. Couple that with his ability to shrug off foul after foul and still be the most dangerous attacker all night, it was a very good performance in a tough match for the youngster. Tim Howard gave him a run for his money but came up just short.
