For the second straight World Cup qualifying cycle, the United States men’s national team have walked into Estadio Azteca and come out with a hard-fought and crucial point in the Hex. An early Michael Bradley wondergoal stunned everyone, but Carlos Vela equalized before the halftime break. The U.S. defended with their lives for the better part of the final 50 minutes and earned the 1-1 draw.
