The United States will be without one of their young left backs for their upcoming friendlies. Antonee Robinson suffered a right ankle injury during training yesterday and has been ruled out of the USMNT’s friendlies tomorrow against England and next Tuesday against Italy. The 21-year-old is expected to miss 4 weeks.
According to U.S. Soccer, Robinson will remain with the USMNT until after the match tomorrow against England, when he will return to Wigan Athletic. He will not be replaced on the roster, leaving 26 players available for American interim manager Dave Sarachan this week.
Defender @Antonee_Jedi will not take part in the #USMNT's upcoming friendlies after suffering a right ankle sprain. Wishing you a speedy recovery, Antonee!
