It was back to work for our Yanks this past weekend after the international break. Haji Wright is now officially a Bundesliga player, becoming the third American under 21-years-old to play in top flight this season. In other good news, Daniel Williams finally made his season debut in England after a tough setback to his ankle recovery in August. Oh yeah.. Gooch is still rolling for Sunderland!
England
Lynden Gooch
Another nice day for Gooch down in League 1 where Sunderland are in 2nd place behind Portsmouth. With his team down two goals, he assisted their first goal in the 62nd minute. Then in the 89th he scored one himself to bring them level. He scored a very similar goal already this season, with his momentum carrying him away from goal. He did very well to keep it under control. VIDEO
.@LyndenGooch loves a late goal!

Danny Williams
In his first appearance of the Premier League season, Williams entered the match in stoppage time this weekend. His Huddersfield side defeated Wolverhampton 2-0. A symbolic gesture more than anything, Danny can now begin fighting for a regular spot after a long recovery from an ankle injury.
DeAndre Yedlin
Got the start for some Monday Night Football today. Yedlin went the distance as Newcastle won 2-1. He nearly scored/should have had an assist just before halftime, using nothing but pace & will power. Right HERE is a video for you to enjoy his quickness in all it’s glory.
Eric Lichaj
The Hull City man had a forgettable day in a 2-0 loss to Nottingham Forest. He completed just 67% of his passes. Hull are all the way down in the relegation zone in 23rd place through 18 matches.
Germany
Bobby Wood
Bobby opened the scoring in just seconds into the match, but then his Hannover 96 side were thrashed 4-1 by Borussia Mönchengladbach. His day was pretty weak outside the goal as he was dispossessed three times and lost ten out of 14 duels. VIDEO
Haji Wright
A Bundesliga debut! Wright entered in the 88th minute for Schalke, who cruised passed Nurnburg 5-2.
John Anthony Brooks
Brooks and Wolfsburg got the 1-0 shutout over RB Leipzig on Saturday. He was 44 of 53 passing (83%) and he was hard at work with ten clearances & three interceptions on the day.
Julian Green
He started and played 56 minutes before being replaced because his team was behind. The man who replaced him, Shawn Parker, got the job done. Greuther Fürth scored twice in the closing minutes to win 3-2.
Terrence Boyd
Boyd started at striker for Darmsadt but was unable to get on the board and was subbed out in the 85th minute. He had three shots (two on target) and was successful with 23 out of 34 passes. They were defeated 3-0.
Marc Heider
The 32-year-old got a goal and an assist in the third tier of Germany for Osnabrueck’s 3-1 win over Energie Cottbus.
Jann-Christopher George
It was a frustrating 90 minutes for George, who took six shots and got just one on target. Jahn Regensburg drew with St. Pauli 1-1.
Christian Pulisic
The 20-year-old came off the bench in the 78th minute as Borussia Dortmund defeated Mainz by a final of 2-1. Pulisic got 21 touches and completed five out of eight passes. He was dispossessed twice and lost seven out of nine duels.
Belgium
Ethan Horvath
After his fantastic showing against Italy, he returned to starting job for Club Brugge. Unfortunately they were defeated 3-1 by Zulte-Waregem. Brugge are in 3rd place, four points behind first place Gent.
Brendan Hines-Ike
Getting a start at centerback, Hines-Ike helped lock down a 2-1 Kortrijk win over Oostende.
Switzerland
Kekuta Manneh
Manneh played the first 73 minutes for St. Gallen as they were defeated 2-1 at the hands of Grasshoper.
Denmark
Jonathan Amon
19-year-old Amon got the start on the left wing in Nordsjælland’s 3-1 loss to Odense. He completed 15 out of 16 passes on 23 touches and had one shot that was on target. But he was subbed out in the 58th minute.
Emmanuel Sabbi
The Hobro man got a full 90 minutes in a 1-0 loss to Rangers FC. He was out-muscled on the day, losing ten duels and getting dispossessed six times.
Netherlands
Erik Palmer-Brown
EPB got another start for NAC Breda, but it was pretty ugly. They were defeated 3-0 by Ajax to keep them in dead last. Brown had three interceptions and six clearances, but was on the hook for the third goal (VIDEO).
Mexico
Omar Gonzalez
He went distance as Atlas were defeated 3-1 by Monterrey.
Ventura Alvarado
Started at centerback and played all 90 minutes as his Necaxa side lost 1-0 to Queretaro.
