It may be late but your recap is here! Let’s take a look around the globe to check in on the pool of Americans who are playing in leagues around the world. We’ve got several on the score sheet this week, including some UEFA Champions League action. I’ve added an asterisk to those named to the latest USMNT roster.

Sweden
Romain Gall*
Gall got the start and scored the opener in the 65th minute of a 3-0 win over IFK Göteborg. He completed 75% of his passes with a key pass and three crosses from the LF/LW spot.
England
DeAndre Yedlin*
Yedlin put in a solid shift for Newcastle in their first win of the season, a 1-0 shutout of Watford. The right back has a couple nice tackles on the defensive end and added five clearances as well. He whipped in three crosses and finished with 78% passing on the day.
Tim Ream
He was on the bench, but did not appear for Fulham over the weekend, but Tim went 69 minutes against power house Manchester City in the EFL Cup. Guardiola’s men eliminated them by a final of 2-0.
Eric Lichaj
Hull City shutout West Brom 1-0 with Lichaj going all 90 at left back. He had four clearances, 76% passing, and one key pass.
Antonee Robinson*
Robinson played all 90 minutes as Wigan Athletic were defeated by Leeds United 2-1. He passed the ball pretty poorly at 53%, but was very active on defense. He won 9 out of 12 duels, had three clearances, and four interceptions.
Lynden Gooch
Gooch went 88 minutes in Sunderland’s 2-0 win over Plymouth.
Germany
Julian Green*
Green had a beautiful assist in Greuther Fürth’s 2-2 draw with Bochum. He finished with 93% passing, three key passes, and a shot on target. VIDEO
Jann-Christopher George
The 26-year-old scored the lone goal for Jahn Regensburg in a 1-1 draw with Union Berlin. It was a truly gorgeous “shross” that floated into the upper 90. He was very busy all day with six crosses, three shots, and two key passes. VIDEO
John Anthony Brooks*
He went the full 90 for Wolfsburg in a 1-0 loss to BvB. He completed 84% of his passes, adding four clearances and two interceptions.
Christian Pulisic*
Pulisic got 12 minutes over the weekend for Borussia Dortmund’s 1-0 win over Brook’s Wolfsburg. He completed 2/2 passing and got just 12 touches.
Weston McKennie*
The Schalke man got all of one minute on the pitch for a 3-1 win over Hannover 96.
Bobby Wood*
He went 90 minutes as Hannover lost to Schalke. The striker completed 74% of his passes. He was dispossessed twice and won just five out of 11 duels on the day. His two shots were both on target and he had two key passes as well.
Fabian Johnson
He played the final 26 minutes for Borussia Mönchengladbach in a 3-0 win over Fortuna Düsseldorf. He was 12 out of 14 passing and got dispossessed twice.
Alfredo Morales
Morales went all 90 minutes in the midfield as Düsseldorf were shut out. He had four clearances, an interception, a shot on target, and 89% pass success.
Josh Sargent*
He picked up another goal for Werder II over the weekend. He’s on the cusp of the first team and will have a big opportunity to impress with the USMNT in the upcoming friendlies.

Ethan Horvath*
The Club Brugge keeper played over the weekend in a 1-1 draw with Genk and got the start in the Champions League on Tuesday against AS Monaco. Not just the start, but a huge 4-0 shutout of Thierry Henry’s men.

The Hibernian man played 69 minutes in a 1-0 loss St. Johnstone.
Netherlands
Erik Palmer-Brown
He finally got another start and played all 90 minutes as NAC Breda got the 2-1 win over Heracles in the Eredivisie. He completed 92% of his passes, had six clearances, and an interception.
Switzerland
Kekuta Manneh
Manneh played 81 minutes for St. Gallen in a 1-0 win over Sion.
Denmark
Jonathan Amon
The Nordsjaelland man missed out on a USMNT call-up this week, but went 45 minutes in a 1-1 draw wtih Aalborg.
Austria
Josh Gatt
He picked up an assist in the 32nd minute for Altach’s 2-2 draw with Rapid Wien.
Mexico
Omar Gonzalez
Omar went 90 minutes for Atlas in a 0-0 draw with Yarbrough’s Leon.
William Yarbrough
He got the shutout between the sticks over Atlas.
Ventura Alvarado
The Necaxa defender played all 90 minutes in a 6-2 beating at the hands of Pachuca.
