Sometimes you must take the bad, with the good.
We’ve got a very mixed bag from our Yanks around the world with plenty of goals and assists to talk about, but others found themselves on the wrong side of beatings.
The highs & Lows from the yanks abroad:
Christian Pulisic
Pulisic was key for Dortmund on Saturday as they jumped three points ahead of Bayer Leverkusen for 3rd place in the Bundesliga. He is developing a dangerous rapport with fellow youngster Jadon Sancho and recorded a nice assist to open the scoring. He was subbed out in the 78th minute after a very nice day. I’ve got videos of the assist and another great sequence below.

Christen Press
She went the distance and scored a very well taken goal in the 6th minute of Goteborg’s 3-1 loss to Hammarby in Sweden’s Damallsvenskan.

Jann-Christopher George
The 25-year-old picked up an assist in the 20th minute of a 77 minutes appearance for Jahn Regensburg’s 3-1 win over St. Pauli. HIGHLIGHT
Romain Gall
The 23-year-old scored the game tying goal in Sweden for Sundsvall as they drew 2-2 at Dalkurd.
Timothy Tillman
He has played for German Youth squads but is switching over the US. Playing for Bayern Munich II, he scored a goal in the 35th minute of a 4-2 win over Schalding-Heining.
Weston McKennie
The 19-year-old played all 90 minutes as Schalke drew with Cologne 2-2. He finished with 84% passing, two key passes, five clearances, and an interception. It was his 19th Bundesliga appearance of the season for Schalke.
Tim Ream
Fulham extended their unbeaten streak in the Championship to 22 matches with a 3-0 win over Millwall. Ream was on the field for all 90 minutes (earned a yellow card) and has been integral in this stretch for Fulham. They are in 3rd place, just one point out of automatic promotion to the Premier League. 2nd place Cardiff have a point in hand, but play that tough match against Derby County on Tuesday. Fulham have 2 games left to make up the difference.
Antonee Robinson
The English-American went the full 90 for Bolton, who were destroyed by Wolverhampton 4-0. As did everyone on his team, Robinson turned in some pretty poor numbers from the left-back position.
DeAndre Yedlin
Yedlin got the start on Monday as Newcastle United fell to Everton 1-0. He played all 90 minutes but was pretty quiet on the day.
Andrija Novakovich
The Telstar man went 90 minutes in a 1-0 loss to De Graafschap in the 2nd level of Dutch football.
Kenny Saief
Saief played all 90 minutes for Anderlecht ‘s 2-1 loss at Genk in the Belgian playoffs.
Bill Hamid
Hamid got his first league start in goal in Denmark. He conceded three goals as Midtjylland drew 3-3 at Aalborg.
Jorge Villafaña
Jorge was subbed out in the 74th minute of Santos Laguna’s 2-1 loss to Pumas.
William Yarbrough
29-year-old Leon keeper, Yarbrough, played all 90 minutes of their 1-1 draw with Tijuana.
Timmy Chandler
Frankfurt missed a chance to put themselves in a Europa League Qualification spot as they lost 3-0 to Hertha Berlin. Unfortunately Chandler was on the field for the entire beating and obviously had a pretty rough stat line.
Aron Johannsson
Appearances are hard to come by as of late for Johannsson. But he was given 19 minutes on Saturday for Werder Bremen in a 2-0 loss to Stuttgart. He entered the match down only one goal as they searched for an equalizer that never came.
Cameron Carter-Vickers
CCV and Ipswitch Town had a terrible day as they were absolutely handled by Aston Villa 4-0. Cameron handed them the third goal of the match. Watch if you dare. HIGHLIGHT
Bobby Wood
Well... he got on the field. He came on for the 56th minute after his Hamburger SV side took the lead over Freiburg. It was a pretty quiet appearance as he only mustered 2 shots (1 on target), he completed two out of three passes and was dispossessed twice.
John Brooks
He’s back... but let’s forget this return. He went only 29 minutes in his first game since December 12th before getting replaced. When Gladbach opened the scoring he was left standing there asking for an offside call. He also picked up a yellow card in the 13th minute. Brooks was visibly furious as he was taken off the field.
