Stade de Reims clinched the Ligue 2 championship with a 3-1 win over Chamois Niortais F.C. at the Stade Auguste-Delaune II. Pablo Chavarria, Diego Rodrigues, and Nolan Mbemba scored in the triumphant victory.

French-Cameroonian-American striker Theoson Siebatcheu started and played 90 minutes, but didn’t score.

Now that the club season is winding down, the soccer/football/futbol world’s focus turns to the international side of things. It seems like a match made in heaven: a striker without a national team commitment who can’t stop scoring on his way to the top division and a national team in need of young talent with upcoming friendlies on the schedule.
Has the 22-year old Washington, D.C. native done enough to tempt Dave Sarachan?
