It was a disappointing match given the expectations of a positive result and the Community ratings showed the angst, both in ratings and in number of community members summoning up the will power to engage with the voting. There were just over 250 votes cast and with the exception of our Man of the Match every player against Ireland had a lower community score than all but one of the Bolivia starters.
For better or worse the US attack on Saturday regularly came up the right side of the field on Saturday and while they struggled at times it also gave your Man of the Match a chance to show off his skills.

Timothy Weah was the Community Man of the Match with an average rating of 6.07. It’s telling that the Man of the Match came out immediately after the game with an apology and promise to continue working to improve his game as a whole and his final touch specifically.
Sorry to all the supporters for the loss gonna get back in lab and keep working to perfect my game......through thick and thin ❤️ #TrustTheProcess

With such a young team there will certainly be ups and downs and many opportunities for continued growth. The hope for fans is that growth continues, players seek out and then rise to the challenges, and potential becomes reality.
As for the rest of the team, the ratings were also reflective of the disappointing afternoon:
Bill Hamid - 3.12
DeAndre Yedlin - 4.92
Matt Miazga - 5.68
Cameron Carter-Vickers - 4.59
Jorge Villafana - 4.39
Wil Trapp - 4.86
Weston McKennie - 5.92
Tyler Adams - 5.73
Rubio Rubin - 4.97
Bobby Wood - 5.83
Tim Parker - 5.21
Shaq Moore - 4.99
Josh Sargent - 5.28
Luca de la Torre - 4.57
Joe Corona - 4.38
Too harsh or too generous? What do you think of the community driven rankings for the USMNT performance this past Saturday?
