France vs. USA, 2018 Friendly: Post-match reaction

The United States men’s national team ended their summer friendly schedule with a surprising 1-1 draw against powerhouse France. Les Bleus are considered by some to be one of the favorites to win the World Cup, but the young USMNT held their own. Julian Green scored the opener right before half-time. The U.S. tried all they could to hold onto the lead, but Kylian Mbappe equalized with a quarter of an hour remaining to send France to Russia with a little less of an embarrassing result.
