Soccer: World Cup-Croatia vs Denmark Sipa USA-USA TODAY Sports

The 2018 World Cup will know by the end of today who will be in the final and who will fight for 3rd place. England takes on Croatia, with the winner facing France on Sunday for the World Cup trophy. The loser will have a consolation date on Saturday with Belgium.

For England, it has been a run that has gripped the country, as this team has a lot of young stars who have seized the moment and are hoping to bring home the title for the first time since 1966. They’ve had some great outings, some tense moments, and they’ve so far lived through them all. They hope to continue that today.

On the other side is Croatia, who has performed quite well throughout the tournament but has needed some luck to get to the semifinals. They became the first team to win two consecutive penalty shootouts in the World Cup when they dispatched Denmark in the Round of 16 and then hosts Russia in the quarterfinals. Luka Modric and Ivan Rakitic have been fantastic, and Croatia is back in the semifinals for the first time since 1998. Can they break through and make their first final?
