Why couldn’t America have declared independence from England on the third of July? I’d really much rather celebrate my nation’s freedom by watching England play Colombia than sitting around all day waiting for MLS games to start at... 7:00PM. Until then, let’s all bask in the glory of Mexico again falling to the curse of el quinto partido after losing 2-0 to Brazil and in Belgium coming back against Japan with Romelu Lukaku making one of the best soccer plays without touching the ball you could hope to see. Owen Goal may be leading the golden boot race, but setting up Nacer Chadli for a goal should be worth about 8 of his own.

Anyway, here’s what’s on today until we say “COME BACK WHERE ARE YOU GOING WHY AREN’T WE GETTING TO SEE THE WORLD CUP AGAIN UNTIL FRIDAY?”
