The United States men’s national team began the new World Cup cycle with a 2-0 loss to Brazil in a friendly. The Samba Boys controlled the match throughout and deservedly got the result thanks to goals from Roberto Firmino and Neymar. Despite the score and lopsided play, it wasn’t all bad news for the young USMNT side. They showed fight and and had a few bright spots, but in the end they were beat out by a much more talented team.
