Jesse Marsch’s locker room speech against Liverpool will make you believe (be aware it’s got NSFW words)

At least it made Salzburg believe

Jesse Marsch is doing things with RB Salzburg. The team is off to a flying start in league play and as was detailed in the UEFA Champions League catchup article, the team pulled off an impressive near comeback against superclub Liverpool.

How did that happen? Liverpool is a might club managed by a brilliant coach with the best players on the world. They attack and defend so intently and have the absolute confidence of their manager that borders on love and devotion that a small club like Salzburg really shouldn’t have stood any chance against them, and yet the impossible almost happened.

HOW?

Maybe now we know - Jesse Marsch’s locker room speech might have taken a while to sink in, but it certainly leaves an impression (Again it’s got NSFW words - and possibly NSFW words in several languages).

To me at least that impression is - run through a wall or BASE jump off of a tall structure wearing a wingsuit, but I haven’t been that inspired by something that looked like a deleted scene from Boiler Room since... Boiler Room. At the very least, Red Bull expects big things out of Marsch and so far he’s delivering.
