Well, that’s certainly a better way to start things out. The United States Men’s National Team came into Friday’s game against Canada needing a win against what is apparently our new rival to the north in order to advance in the Nations League competition. If took just over 90 seconds for Jordan Morris to find the back of the net.

From there, the team never really looked back, scoring again in the 23rd and 34th minutes to go up 3-0 with Morris picking up the assist on the second as well.
And the second goal has arrived! Great assist by Jordan Morris for Gyasi Zardes!

Morris’ tone setting goal as well as his assist on the second was enough to earn him SSFC’s Man of the Match honors with a 7.770 rating.
Interestingly enough for a match in which the team scored four goals Morris was the only offensive player to score above a 7 rating by the community with the three other players to exceed that threshold all being defenders including John Anthony Brooks, goal scorer Aaron Long and newly cap-tied Sergino Dest.
The full scores were as follows:
Jordan Morris - 7.770
Sergino Dest - 7.527
John Brooks - 7.044
Aaron Long - 7.027
Gyasi Zardes - 6.972
Sebastian Lletget - 6.397
DeAndre Yedlin - 6.287
Jackson Yueill - 6.267
Tim Ream - 6.260
Brad Guzan - 6.123
Weston McKennie - 5.743
Paul Arriola - 5.602
Alredo Morales - 5.575
