USA vs. Cuba, CONCACAF Nations League group stage: Man of the Match

The United States Men’s National Team finally were able to clinch Group A of the CONCACAF Nations League’s League A Tuesday night when they defeated Cuba 4-0 in the Cayman Islands. It took mere seconds for the scoring to begin, and the rest of the goals were spread out over the course of the match as the Yanks pulled away from Cuba.

There were several players who had notable performances, and at the top of that list were the two players that notched braces for the USMNT: Jordan Morris and Josh Sargent. The SSFC community voted, and Morris edged out Sargent for the Man of the Match award. They were the only two players who had a rating over 7, and it was well deserved. For Morris, it’s two SSFC Man of the Match awards in a row, as he took the one for the Canada match last Friday.
