The United States national team ended winter camp with a 2-0 victory against Costa Rica at Avaya Stadium in San Jose, California. Sebastian Lletget scored the match’s first goal in the 80th minute, heading in a cross from Jonathan Lewis. Paul Arriola added a second in the 88th minute, latching onto a through ball from Lletget and chipping his shot into the net.

Manager Gregg Berhalter made two changes to the starting lineup, with Arriola and Wil Trapp taking the place of Jeremy Ebobisse and Michael Bradley. Aaron Long captained the side for the second straight match.
