The United States Men’s National Team held on last night for a 1-1 draw against Chile to cap off a productive week for the team during the March international window. They beat Ecuador 1-0 last Thursday night in a match where a deflected Gyasi Zardes shot was the difference.
As we look back at the two matches, we saw some of the players that we’ve grown accustomed to seeing in a U.S. uniform over the last year, while some have seen their appearances increase in the early part of Gregg Berhalter’s tenure as head coach. The team now looks forward to this summer’s Gold Cup, but there’s an entire pool of players fighting to be one of the 23 players who will comprise the official roster.
So, this week’s Community Corner asks you: who impressed the most for the USMNT this month? Was it Gyasi Zardes, who had a goal and an assist in the two matches? Was it the play of Paul Arriola or Cristian Roldan? Was it a relative newcomer like Daniel Lovitz or Corey Baird? Or, did you see the most from a regular like Tyler Adams or Christian Pulisic?
