Yanks Abroad: Goals from Brooks & Novakovich

John Brooks continued his great form and Andrija Novakovich got on the scoresheet in the Netherlands.

26-year-old John Anthony Brooks has put together a string of solid performances the last few weeks and he’s got a goal and an assist the last two matches. Over in the Netherlands, Andrija Novakovich scored his sixth goal of the season. But it wasn’t all pretty for the United States players overseas as Julian Green was given a red card on Monday and Bobby Wood continues a disappointing campaign.

After picking up an assist last week, Brooks scored a header off a free kick in Wolfsburg’s 1-1 draw with Werder Bremen. GOAL
