Christian Pulisic’s Borussia Dortmund career is slowly winding down, but the American isn’t quite done making his mark in Germany. The 20-year-old is on loan with the Black and Yellow for the remainder of the season before joining Chelsea and still helping his first professional club try and win the league.

Pulisic came off the bench on Saturday while Dortmund were knotted in a 1-1 draw with VfB Stuttgart. In just 11 minutes in substitute duty, the U.S. international recorded the game-winning assist and secured the massive three points with an insurance goal.

The assist required a bit of fortune, but it still counted nonetheless:

Meanwhile, the goal was just his second of the Bundesliga season and his first since September. It’s his sixth goal in all competitions. The goal came off a very nice play by Axel Witsel in the corner, Mario Goetze then found Pulisic, who was made a nice near post run and finished nicely with his left foot.

The win ensures that Dortmund stay level with Bayern Munich on 57 points with around two months of the season left to play.
