New, 6 comments

Covering all the action from the American players with clubs outside the United States.

The injuries have piled up and we have a shorter list to review this week, but there were a lot of positives for the United States National Team players overseas. Jan George got on the score-sheet, as well as Tim Weah in a mid-week clash for Celtic.

Over in Germany, Christian Pulisic, Tyler Adams, & Weston McKennie were all still out of the lineup as they recover from injuries.

England

Cameron Carter-Vickers
CCV has made the most of his opportunity at more playing time and really impressed his manager at Swansea. He turned in another solid 90 minutes as Swansea defeated Middlesbrough. Carter-Vickers won the most duels (8) in the match. FotMob: 7.1 | WhoScored: 7.2 (YOUTH UPDATE)

Lynden Gooch
Sunderland have not lost a league match in 2019 and have lost just two all season. They picked up another win over Rochdale by a 2-1 final. Gooch started but was subbed out after just 31 minutes with a hamstring injury, something he has dealt with all season. Sunderland are level on points with 2nd place (automatic promotion) Barnsley, but they have two valuable games-in-hand.
