Before today’s final home match of the season, Borussia Dortmund honored Christian Pulisic, who is departing for Chelsea in the summer. The club showed a ton of class in saying goodbye to a player they’ve nurtured since he was 16.

The U.S. international repaid the love by finding the net in his home finale and for the second match in a row.

It wasn’t the most amazing of goals as he just peeled off his defender and headed in a ball across goal. But his instinct in front of goal has always been good and this is just another example.
While Pulisic has struggled with injuries and playing time, he’s still put up some respectable numbers in all competitions for Dortmund.
Pulisic now has 4g/3a in ~800 Bundesliga minutes this year, and 7g/5a in ~1550 total minutes for Dortmund.

As he says goodbye to the only professional club he’s ever known, we ponder what the future holds for him at Stamford Bridge.
