Yanks Abroad: Goals from Pulisic & Green

As many leagues around the world are wrapping things up, we check in with the Americans playing abroad.

It was a dream finish to his days in front of the Yellow Wall as Chirstian Pulisic scored in his second straight match over the weekend. Elsewhere in Germany, Julian Green got on the score-sheet for the fourth time this season. Ethan Horvath also had a good week as Club Brugge look to qualify for the UEFA Champions League in Belgium.

Germany

What a way to cap off his time at Signal Iduna Park! Pulisic opened the scoring the 41st minute of a 3-2 Borussia Dortmund win over Fortuna Düsseldorf in his last match in front of the BvB faithful. 22-year-old Novakovich played 64 minutes in Fortuna Sittard’s 3-0 loss to FC Groningen. He was the match’s most accurate passer with 91% but he lost possession the most times (5) as well. Sittard are just above the red line but are safe with a 4 point cushion heading into the final week. VIDEO

The 24-year-old played 90 minutes as Kortrijk beat Zulte-Waregem 5-0 in Playoff Group B.


Denmark

Jonathan Amon
Amon played 90 minutes as FC Nordsjælland fell at Brøndby IF 2-0. He completed the most dribbles (5) in the match.
