All of the Jonathans are being transfered... or rumored to be transfered at least. Jonathan Amon of FC Nordsjælland and the 40 man Gold Cup roster might be headed to Belgium. It would be a change for the forward after spending his entire pro career in Denmark.

Amon hasn’t quite settled in with Nordsjælland thanks to some injuries and lack of form. Still, when he’s healthy his skill is undeniable.

Should he head to Jan Breydel Stadium, Amon would be joining the Belgian First Division runners up and depending on how qualifying goes could have a chance at either playing in the Champions League or Europa League.
Amon was not included on the U-20 World Cup roster but did make his senior team debut last November. He may have an outside shot at making the Gold Cup roster as he’s at least impressed Gregg Berhalter enough to be one of the 11 forwards named to the preliminary group of players.
