While the young nats and the USWNT are participating in World Cups this summer, the USMNT are on the road back to qualifying for the tournament. The team will have their first competitive run of matches under manager Gregg Berhalter in the Gold Cup this summer.
Berhalter announced the roster that will take on the best of Jamaica and perhaps the best of Concacaf, except for all of the El Tri players who are too tired to play, when things kick off in a few weeks. Here’s who made the cut for the friendly:

Some familiar faces are on that list including Jozy Altidore, Michael Bradley, and Omar Gonzalez. Meanwhile some new names are on the roster including Columbus, Georgia’s Duane Holmes, Tyler Boyd, and Jackson Yueill. And still there are the players who fit into the “I have not heard that name in a long time” category as Joe Gyau returns to the national team.
