According to reports from several sources FC Dallas manager Luchi Gonzalez has confirmed that right back Reggie Cannon has been added to the 23 man Gold Cup roster ahead of the USMNT’s opening match against Guyana next Tuesday.
Looks like Reggie Cannon will be an injury replacement for the Gold Cup.

No word yet on who is out. https://t.co/8ItdMOzJiD
With the addition of Cannon to the roster another player will need to be removed but there has been no indication at this time of who Cannon is replacing. Given his natural position at right back and that we aren’t even sure there is a glass at this point, much less that it’s half full, many are speculating that Tyler Adams will be removed and return to Germany for a summer off. This would be a significant blow to the USMNT Gold Cup hopes as Adams clearly represents one of the teams best and most influential players.
Cannon was called in for the January camp with Berhalter but has yet to appear for the USMNT this year.
