The 2019 Women’s World Cup has entered the quarterfinals, and eight teams are left to vie for the coveted trophy. At stake in the quarterfinals is a ticket to Lyon and a berth in the semifinals. The quarterfinals begins in Le Havre with Norway taking on England. Norway got to this stage by knocking off Australia on penalties, and they’re trying to get back to the semifinals for the first time since 2007. In their way stand the Lionesses, who reached the semifinals 4 years ago and are looking to claim a return trip. They’ve brought back most of their stars that have grown the team into one of the world powers over the past few years, but they will have to get past a tough Norwegian team that has frustrated so many opponents with their defense and ability to find the back of the net in clutch time. Who heads to Lyon?
