This morning, United States Men’s National Team Gregg Berhalter released his 23-man roster for the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup, which begins on June 15th. The 23 players who comprise the roster come from the 40-man provisional roster which was announced on May 20th.

In a change to the rules this year, the 23-man roster will be the final roster for the USMNT for the Gold Cup. Previously, teams named 30-man rosters and brought 23 to the group stage. After the group stage concluded, teams were allowed to bring up 6 roster replacements from the 30-man roster. Starting with this month’s tournament, however, only the 23-man roster will be eligible to play throughout the Gold Cup.
