The United States Women’s National Team will learn who will join them in the Women’s World Cup final when the Netherlands face off against Sweden tonight in Lyon. For the winner, it’s a chance to go for their first World Cup title, while the loser will head to Lyon to face England in a 3rd place match Saturday. The Netherlands were able to outlast Italy in the quarterfinals, while Sweden upset Germany to make it to this point. Both teams have some good players, and it’s unclear where the advantage may be. Look for Dutch midfielder Leike Martens to try to put her team on her back, as the former World Player of the Year will hope to carry the Oranje to the final. Sweden has been great defensively when it matters in the knockout stage, and they will hope to do it again to get back to the final for the first time since 2003. Who will be standing at the end?
