Yanks Abroad: Steffen shines in Bundesliga debut

Checking in on the Americans playing for clubs abroad.

There were quite a few promising performances for the Americans playing abroad this past week as Zack Steffen stepped it up in his first Bundesliga match. He wasn’t even the only one with a big day, with Julian Green in the 2nd tier and Romain Gall in Sweden getting Man of the Match ratings as well.


Zack Steffen
Making his Bundesliga debut, Steffen was named to a few Team of the Weeks for his work in Fortuna Dusseldorf’s 3-1 win over Werder Bremen. WhoScored named him Man of the Match HIGHLIGHTS
