SheBelieves 2020 set for Orlando, Harrison, Frisco

SheBelieves 2020 details have been finalized. The US women’s national team will play Spain, Japan, and England in three games from March 5 - 11 in Florida, New Jersey, and Texas. Full schedule below:

This is the fifth year for SheBelieves, which in tournament years is generally treated as a tune-up for the WNT before they compete for a medal. This will also be Vlatko Andonovski’s first test under tournament conditions as head coach.

It’s a little hard to predict a roster at the moment. Andnovski played it safe with his first games in November last year, then called in some great young players for identification camps, then had the usual names again for January training camp. Will he have been in the post long enough by March to feel more confident mixing and matching, maybe testing the waters with players like Sophia Smith, who seems to be on an inevitable path towards the senior team? That would be fun, but in an Olympic year, maybe fun is not on the agenda.
