Could another young American be heading to Italy to team up with Weston McKennie at Juventus? According to 3rd Degree, an independent website that covers FC Dallas, the Italian giants are preparing a bid for 19-year-old full back Bryan Reynolds.

The report suggests that several teams from around Europe have their eye on the Dallas homegrown right back, but that Juve are ready to table a bid in the region of $6-7 million to secure his services.

We’re in the midst of what can only be described as a massive boom when it comes to Americans signing with big clubs in Europe. It appears that the trend is only going to continue to grow in strength if this report is any indication.

Reynolds debuted for FC Dallas in 2019, but it was this where he really made a name for himself. He appeared in 17 matches during the pandemic-shortened season, starting in 14 of those while recording three assists. He is a U.S. youth international and has caps at the U-16, U-17 and U-18 levels.

What do you make of this rumor? Excited about the possibility of even more Americans making the jump over to Europe this early in their careers? Comment below.
