Weston McKennie’s year continues to get better and better. Just a few days after notching his first goal for Juventus, he’s followed it up with a stunning goal against FC Barcelona in the Champions League.
The young American star has impressed everyone since arriving in Turin and his good work is finally translating into end product. His talents were on full display for Juve’s second goal in the first half against the Blaugrana on Tuesday:

The ever-confident Texan began the move with a crisp pass out wide to Juan Cuadrado. His great run towards goal was rewarded with a cross, with which he flung himself at and scored a tremendous strike.
Gregg Berhalter has said several times in public that he sees McKennie as the type of midfielder to arrive inside the box and make things happen. He’s making his national team manager look like a fortune teller lately with two goals in the last week. Keep it up, Wes!
