Whenever soccer gets back underway, midfielder Romain Gall will have a new home. The 25 year-old has only had one appearance for Malmo in 2020. Gall seemed to only have the option of finding a new home after falling out of favor in Sweden. According to his agency, Gall will join Stabaek in Norway on loan.

While Gall has shown promise and gained a call-up under American Manager Dave Sarachan in late 2018, he hasn’t been what manager Jon Dahl Tomasson is looking for. This comes after a strong showing in 2018 when he even notched a brace for the Swedish side.
The Eliteserien is set to kick off in late May due to the Coronavirus outbreak. As the situation evolves, it is yet to be seen how teams will address personnel issues and how player transactions will be impacted with shifting season calendars. At the very least, Gall has found a home for 2020 as he looks to regain the form that earned him a look with the USMNT in 2018.
