As we reach the weekend and the final couple days of Jersey Week here at SBN, we have focused a lot on jerseys for the United States men’s and women’s national teams. What we haven’t done is take a look at some of the beautiful jerseys that other teams in CONCACAF wear on the field to represent their country.
Some jerseys are colorful. Others may tie into their flag or rock a unique color. Others have a cool design that no one else has. We take a look at some of the best jerseys that CONCACAF has to offer.
Anguilla is one of the rare teams to employ a orange-dominant jersey, but this one also has waves of light blue and white coming down the torso. And in the middle, they got dolphins forming a circle around the number. Dolphins! This is one of the greatest jerseys in the region just for that alone.
St. Lucia’s home jersey combines light blue, yellow, and black to form a visually stunning jersey. They may not play well on the field (they lost every match in the Nations League last fall and were relegated to League C), but they look great every time they step out on that field.
The Bahamas break out the aqua jerseys whenever they’re on the road. Aqua and black is a pretty unique look in the region, and the Bahamas do it very well.
Dominica wears a tribute to their national flag on their jersey when they play, and they take the green to another level. With the yellow and white cross going across their chest and all the way down to the bottom of their shorts, it makes for a very cool look each time.
Jamaica routinely have some of the best jerseys in the world, and their current away look is no exception. A predominantly black jersey that has green and yellow diamonds taking over the bottom half of the jersey is visibly incredible, and it doesn’t hurt that they normally play well in them. We see them mostly in their home yellow jersey, which is usually equally awesome. However, these may be some of the best away jerseys they’ve ever had.
