Christian Pulisic’s unbelievable summer continued on Wednesday. The American superstar did not start in Chelsea’s league match away to Liverpool but made his presence known right after subbing on at the hour mark.
Just five minutes after being called on by Frank Lampard, Pulisic offered up one of the best assists and overall highlights of his young but already impressive career. On his customary left flank, Pulisic dribbled by not one, not two, but three world-class Liverpool players, including nutmegging defender Joe Gomez en route to goal before centering a perfect pass for Tammy Abraham to convert.

He wasn’t done there. With his side now down two goals, the U.S. international scored his fourth goal since the season resumed due to the coronavirus pandemic and his ninth overall. After receiving a cross in the box, Pulisic chested down to his feet, kept his composure before firing a shot into the top corner.
Can't stop @cpulisic_10!

While 2020 has been the worst year in the history of mankind by some margin, Christian Pulisic continues to be one of the few shining lights in this dark world.
