Julian Araujo added, Bryan Reynolds departs from U.S. U-23 January Camp

“Personal reasons.”

El Salvador v USMNT

Julian Araujo is back! The 19-year-old LA Galaxy defender has returned to the United States U-23s roster for January Camp after departing at the beginning of camp due to an illness. Araujo replaces FC Dallas defender Bryan Reynolds on the roster, who is leaving January Camp due to “personal reasons.”

Are those “personal reasons” related to the rumors surrounding Reynolds’ impending move to Europe, specifically to Juventus (and then on loan to Benevento) in Serie A? One can speculate that it’s related. However, no reasons were given other than personal, so let’s hope everything is okay with Bryan Reynolds and we get to see him back in a camp in the near future. For Araujo, he returns to camp with the hope that he can stick around with the USMNT when they play their just-announced friendly against Trinidad and Tobago on January 31st.
