Welcome to the third and final game of the 2021 SheBelieves tournament. The United States is coming into this match after a 1-0 result against Canada and a 2-0 result against Brazil. The team hasn’t looked particularly great, but they also haven’t looked obviously poor, at least not in sustained ways. This may end up being a game to see if starters can sharpen up, or it might be time for some roster rotation just to rest legs and lean more into the evaluation purposes of this tournament. Vlatko Andonovski has said, albeit half in jest, that all 18 Olympic roster spots are still up for grabs, with no locked-in spots (although you can certainly rattle off a good handful of players who probably are locked in).
We’ll have starting XIs as they’re available.
