It has been an exceedingly successful eight weeks for Daryl Dike. The striker was a low key note on transfer deadline day with the Jordan Morris news overshadowing his loan to Barnsley. Since then, he’s proven that he can play at a higher level and is drawing interest not only from the Championship side to make his loan permanent, but also from the Premier League where Everton are reportedly interested in his services.
According to website Eurosport, the Toffees may value the player at $20 million. This comes after Orlando City possibly turned down a $10 million bid for Dike.
Reports from the UK claiming @OrlandoCitySC have turned down a bid of $10 million for Daryl Dike. Talk about taking your chance, Dike has been excellent for Barnsley.

Stay tuned….. #USMNT
It really isn’t hard to see why teams are interested in him. He has fantastic movement, a nose for goal, and his physical presence on the pitch adds an edge to his game that is well suited for the Championship and has applicability in the EPL. Not only that, but when he kicks the ball it goes in the net.

Dike’s loan expires in time for him to come back to start the MLS season reportedly, but as his value keeps rising it seems like it will be hard for Orlando City to hold onto him for much longer.
