Christian Pulisic has scored his fair share of historic goals so far in his career. He may have scored his most important against Real Madrid on Tuesday when he became the first American to find the net in a men’s UEFA Champions League semifinal. The Chelsea star opened the scoring early on against 13-time European champions Real Madrid with a very slick and composed finish.

Antonio Rudiger found the U.S. international after a perfectly timed run caught out the Madrid back line. After having his angle to goal cut off, he calmly rounded former Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and scored in between two defenders.
It’s been an up-and-down season for Pulisic, but he’s caught fire at the perfect time with his side in the hunt for a Champions League title. Hopefully he can continue to stay healthy and on form as so many important competitions are on the horizon for the USMNT.
