Concacaf World Cup qualifying has reached its Second Round, and 6 teams are left to fight it out to see who will join the USMNT, Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras, and Jamaica in the Octagon this fall. After 30 teams began in March with dreams of making it to the final round of qualifying - and a chance to make the World Cup - we are now down to the following matchups:
St. Kitts & Nevis vs. El Salvador
Canada vs. Haiti
Panama vs. Curaçao
Each matchup is intriguing, as it features a team that most would presume to be the favorite against an upstart team that’s looking to make noise. Most of us fans are probably already trying to figure out which countries we would want to visit for a match, or maybe we want to face the best of the best in the Octagon.
Either way, the question for this week: who do you wish to see make the Octagon. Make your 3 choices (St. Kitts/El Salvador, Canada/Haiti, Panama/Curaçao) and discuss in the comments!
