After rumors linking him elsewhere, Ethan Horvath has settle in a new home. The American hero who helped win the Nations League has signed on with Nottingham Forest of the Championship.

In a statement put out by the team, Horvath said: “It feels great to be here. Nottingham Forest is such a historic club. I really like the stadium and training ground and the people have been fantastic. It’s a new challenge for me. I’m hoping all my experience can help Forest. I’ve heard about the fans and the 30,000 crowds and that even when it’s not full, it’s loud. The shirt carries a lot of history and I’m proud to be part of that history.”

At 26 Horvath is looking for regular playing time and he wasn’t getting it in Belgium. The Tricky Trees finished 17th in the EFL last season so the Yank will probably have a lot of opportunities to stop shots headed his way in 2021-2022.
