The Fédération Internationale de Football Association has looked at the results, crunched the numbers, possibly even watched some of the games, and come up with a new top 10 in their rankings.
The USA is no. 10. But somehow isn’t the top ranked team in Concacaf.

Somehow El Tri is no. 9. This is strange because I seem to recall this.

You’ll notice that there’s a lot of confetti and Americans holding trophies.
I just remembered something else.

One other thing I remembered.

Those are quite a few pictures of Mexico players looking sad and not holding trophies.
In short - Hey FIFA, no mames.
This is obviously wrong, but it’s nice that the USMNT is getting into the top 10 of anything especially given that the hope for the summer was winning one trophy maybe. Getting two is even better. I’m sure Mexico would trade places and take some silverware over being no. 9 in something that’s mostly made up anyway.
